sue holstein - SECRETARY

Sue Holstein and her husband Richie moved to Bedford in 1982 shortly after the birth of their first child. They raised their sons here, enjoying all that Bedford has to offer growing families.

She fell in love with New Hampshire when she attended Colby-Sawyer College. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Boston University, she moved to back to New Hampshire permanently. Now retired, Sue held a variety of finance related positions during her working career. Sue’s involvement with Democratic politics dates back to the early 1970’s as a volunteer with George McGovern’s presidential campaign in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York. She especially enjoys meeting fellow citizens while doing door-to-door campaigning. Her most memorable campaign experience was meeting Barack Obama right here in Bedford and attending his 2008 inauguration in D.C.
